What Role does Aroma Play in Skincare Products?

I believe that people have many choices when buying a product. Some people are because of the packaging, some are for the popularity, and some are for the fragrance of the product.

However, from the moment you open the cap, the scent in the product has already fascinated you, and this scent may make you have a lot of wrong feelings about the use of the entire product, and even the true effect.

The role of aroma is generally two functions, one is to cover the odor of raw materials, and the other is to make us smell more energetic.

Why does aroma irritate the skin?

Aroma is a synthetic concentrated aromatic oil that mimics the scent of fruits and natural fragrances. It is an artificial flavor. It is mostly used in the manufacture of food, cosmetics, and cigarettes. The aroma added in modern cosmetics accounts for 95% of synthetic fragrance, but they are also rich in reactive chemicals. Therefore, they are affected by heat, light, air, metal ions, etc., it is easy to deteriorate, and it can be seen from skin disorders such as skin allergies and pigmentation in inflammatory parts.

Does the fragrance of all products come from aroma? No! Some skincare products do not have an aroma, but they still have fragrances. This is because the fragrance comes from the raw materials of the skincare product itself.

When buying skincare products, it is best to choose some brand companies with raw material research & development capabilities and formula research & development capabilities. The products they produce are better than the usual skincare products on the market. Don’t simply be obsessed with well-known brands that only rely on gimmicks and advertisements to confuse consumers. After all, ingredients and effects are more reliable than brand advertising effects.
